November 7th: Live-Streaming Opportunity
I have agreed to sit down with two of the best thinkers I know—Dr. Yaron Brook and Mike Williams—on November 7th, to brainstorm and talk about election results and what comes next.
What will be happening in the United States on November 7th, two days after the upcoming election?
Will angry short-haired women be screaming uncontrollably in the streets? Will cities be on fire? Will there be widespread looting, vandalism, and physical assaults, while progressive journalists reassure us these are merely peaceful protests? Or worse?
No one knows for sure. What better time, therefore, to be in the company of people you trust and respect?
There is one thing we do know: No matter who wins the upcoming election, there are great challenges ahead for those who want to transform the United States from the bloated, undemocratic, unjust administrative regime it has become, into something resembling a self-governing constitutional republic of liberty and human flourishing.
Over the course of many decades, courts, Congress, and presidents have worked in concert to make the United States a place where subjects now beg unelected bureaucrats for permission before using their own property, spending their own money, or doing what they want to do.
We are now the land of progressive central planners and social engineers, home of cowards who refuse to accept the responsibilities of adulthood because they want to live as perpetual children. Turning the United States into the land of the free and home of the brave requires much work, more than one President can do, physically, legally, or constitutionally.
Neither Trump nor Harris are perfect candidates, and neither will be a perfect President. If Trump wins, there are key things he can do to help the cause of freedom, and there are ways citizens can help him. If Harris wins, we can use her lack of intelligence and her dogmatic, blind faith in German-style progressivism and moral nihilism to awaken Americans to the reality of what we've allowed our nation to become.
These are matters of grave importance. They involve nothing less than the future and fate of our United States of America, the destiny of which will in large measure be decided by us. Thinking clearly and talking frankly about these subjects is among the most important things we should do, we must do.
That is why I have agreed to sit down with two of the best thinkers I know—my friends Dr. Yaron Brook and Mike Williams—on November 7th, to brainstorm and talk about where we are, how we got here, where we want to be, and the best things we can do to get there.
I’ve learned recently that the event will be live-streamed. I am writing to let you know that you can register now. I've been told by the organizers that the price will increase after November 1, so get your tickets sooner than later, if you are interested.
If you know others who value being in the company of people who think and speak well about important matters of national destiny—especially in moments of great national uncertainty—please share this information. Thank you.
