The United States was founded as a protest -- a rebellion -- against a king, and against kingship. That's a reason for all Americans to celebrate each July 4th.

Tom, I enjoy how you think. To have distinct independence days does exactly what you have described here. I want more unity of worldview in the USA, not division. Simply because someone hadn’t or hasn’t experienced their own independence in America is not a just reason for multiple celebrations. As a follower of Jesus Christ, i believe there are indeed universal truths that are undeniable. Some may not have discovered these yet but it doesn’t mean that they aren’t TRUTH. I’m convinced that one day they will revealed to every single human being.
