When everyday Americans refer to charitable organizations as “nonprofits,” they unwittingly support progressive animosity toward profit, and the business owners who earn profits.
NPR - the government funded propaganda machine for the left, etc., etc., etc.
It’s time to ban government funding of non-profits. If people want to donate to fund programs, that’s fine, just do it with your own money. If government wants to provide a service, do it through government departments with audits and accountability to the voters.
Non-profits can be immoral, why else do they try to hide the money they are giving to organizations under them. If the citizen cannot track their "gift" to it's end, then it lacks transparency and honesty.
Tom, this is excellent.
Much of what we call government is now done through unaccountable non-profits. Look at how California deals with homelessness for example. $24 billion unaccounted for and homelessness skyrocketing. https://calmatters.org/housing/homelessness/2024/04/california-homelessness-spending/
